Four Chinese players will contest the finals of the men's and women's singles competitions at the International Table Tennis Federation’s Austrian Open.

The Asian powerhouse was in dominant form today as four Chinese players successfully advanced from their respective semi-finals at the Tips Arena in Linz.

Lin Gaoyuan booked his place in the final this evening with a comfortable win.

He thrashed France's Simon Gauzy 11-7, 11-4, 7-11, 11-6, 11-5 to move within one win of the title.

Yan An, the winner of the Hungary Open earlier this year, will be his opposition in the final.

The Chinese player overcame his fellow countryman Fang Bo in a seven game thriller 11-9, 9-11, 11-8, 7-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-6.

Fang won the Austrian Open title in 2013 and saw his bid for another success come to an end just one stage before the final.
