Russia's identical twins Dina and Arina Averina again won a gold medal apiece as the siblings continued their domination of the International Gymnastics Federation Rhythmic World Championships in Pesaro.

Dina won the individual clubs title at the Adriatic Arena in the Italian city, with Arina triumphing in the ribbon competition.

Dina had won the hoop gold medal yesterday, when Arina clinched the ball world title.

Both sisters, who are 19, now have two world titles each after winning all of the gold medals between them at the World Games in Polish city Wrocław last month.

They each won silver medals behind the other in yesterday's events.

The clubs title today went the way of Dina, a triple European champion, with a score of 19.000 points.

Katsiaryna Halkina of Belarus split the twins on the podium, registering 18.050 points for silver.

Arina took bronze on 17.800 points.

In the ribbons event Arina, also a three-times European champion, scored 18.300 to win the gold.

Dina added to her medal haul with silver on 17.200 as Israel's Linoy Ashram won bronze on 16.650.

The qualification rounds for both events had earlier been topped by Dina, the younger sister by 20 minutes.

She also topped both qualifiers yesterday.

The individual all-around final will be held tomorrow.
