Six teams are in contention for glory at the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) World Grand Prix Group One Finals - with action due to get underway tomorrow in Nanjing in China.

Serbia finished the preliminary round on top of the rankings table with a 7-2 win-loss record, but they are expected to face tough competition at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre.

The Rio 2016 Olympic silver medallists will face bronze medallists the United States in their first match in Pool K1 tomorrow.

"It’s a great honour to be in the World Grand Prix Finals," Serbia coach Zoran Terzić said.

"Last time we were in the finals was four years ago when we took the bronze medal.

"Our target is to get a medal.

"It will be difficult because the six best teams are here.

"We have to play very well to be able to hit our target."

Serbia captain Milena Rasić added: "Our team is ready and we have prepared to play against these amazing teams."
