Denmark's Tanja Jensen ended the 31 match winning streak of Colombia's Sara Lopez with a shock victory in the semi-finals of the Archery World Cup in Antalya.

The reigning world number one was defeated by 149-147 in the penultimate stage of the women's compound competition at the Antalya Archery Club Field in Turkey.

It brought to an end a run of five straight World Cup victories for the Colombian.

“It feels pretty great,” Jensen said.

"I knew I had to shoot pretty great to beat Sara because Sara is always on point.

“I think for some reason it made me less nervous because I thought that nobody is going to care if I lose to Sara Lopez because she’s like really, really good so I’ll just take it easy.”

Jensen will now contest an all-Danish final against team-mate Sarah Sonnichsen.

The second seed had defeated Iran's Parisa Baratchi 147-141 in her semi-final.

The top two seeds will face off in the final of the men's recurve competition.
