The agreement was signed by COSL President André Hoffmann and secretary general Daniel Dax at the headquarters of Casino 2000.

"We are pleased to have a faithful partner like Casino 2000," said Hoffmann.

"This support is essential to continue to develop and promote sport and home sports people in Luxembourg, but also beyond borders."

They are based in Mondorf-les-Bains, with the country’s only gambling facilities welcoming more than 500,000 visitors a year.

"It is natural that we wanted to give our support to the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee and to reaffirm our commitment to the socioeconomic fabric of Luxembourg, particularly in the sporting life of the country," said Berghmans.

The agreement is part of Casino 2000's policy of sport and cultural sponsorship, with the company saying it "reflects their local roots and importance of maintaining long-term relationships".
