The Jordan Olympic Committee has launched the Smile Like a Winner campaign ©JOC

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) marked 100 days until Rio 2016 by launching the "Smile Like a Winner" campaign.

It is hoped the initiative will help raise support for Jordan's athletes in Brazil with two competitors from the country already qualified.

The "Smile Like a Winner" truck will tour the country over the next few weeks, offering the general public an opportunity to win prizes by taking part in a sporting challenges.

Fans are also invited to show their support by posting cheering pictures and selfies to Facebook using the hashtag #SmileLikeAWinner.

JOC partner Backaldrin, a baking company, is backing the scheme and has launched a special "Nashama" bread to support the campaign and highlight the importance of nutrition.

“The Olympic Games is a celebration for the whole world and Smile Like a Winner will give all Jordanians the opportunity to play their part and show their support,” said Lana Al Jaghbeer, JOC Secretary General.

Boxer Hussein Ishaiash and taekwondo player Ahmad Abu Ghaush are the two athletes from Jordan to have booked their places in Rio, with the Games beginning on August 5.

Seventeen-year-old swimmer Khader Baqleh has achieved the B qualification time and is awaiting confirmation of his spot.

Other athletes are continuing their bids to qualify in boxing, judo, swimming and triathlon.

Information on where the truck will be visiting will be made public on the JOC Facebook and Twitter pages.
