Paralympic champion Redkozubov, with guide Evgeny Geroev, finished third in the super-combined contest yesterday as Slovakia's Miroslav Haraus and guide Maros Hudik skied to a shock victory on the Austrian slopes.

However, the Russian duo put that bitter defeat to bed today, as they completed their runs in 1 minute, 18.61 seconds to take the visually impaired gold medal.

Haraus and Hudik put in a superb final run to move from fourth to second and continue their fine form in the competition, while Poland's Maciej Krezel and guide Anna Ogarzynska completed the top three to claim their first podium of the 2014-2015 season in 1:27.70.

Bugaev had failed to finish in the men's standing super-combined contest yesterday, ending a streak of four successive gold medals from last week's World Cup in La Molina.

The same was not to happen today as the double Sochi 2014 gold medallist skied to a comfortable victory in 1:16.94, more than three seconds clear of compatriot and yesterday's winner Alexander Alyabyev in second.

New Zealand's Adam Hall picked up his second podium finish in as many days in third.

Germany's Andrea Rothfuss continued her impressive form in Austria, picking up her second win of the competition in the women's standing.

Her two fastest runs gave her a total time of 1:30.32, placing her ahead of The Netherlands' Anna Jochemsen, who finished on the podium for the third time this season.

Slovakian Petra Smarzova was third.

After taking joint second in yesterday's race, Germany's Thomas Nolte moved a step higher on the podium today, beating Croatia's Dino Sokolovic in the men's sitting with a time of 1:22.99.

Sokolovic was in a lowly seventh after his first run but clawed his way into the silver medal position following a superb second.

Japan's Taiki Morii, who took gold in yesterday's contest, was forced to settle for third as he finished just 0.40 seconds behind Sokolovic.

Austria's Claudia Loesch continued her dominant display on home soil, taking her second gold in as many days in the women's sitting.

Her time of 1:37.81 was almost 10 seconds quicker than The Netherlands' Linda van Impelen, who took second ahead of Japan's Momoka Muraoka.

Belgium's Eleonor Sana and guide Chloe Sana were the only competitors in the women's sitting, finishing in 1:49.27 to ensure the gold medal.
