Transgender swimmer Lia Thomas seeks arbitration from CAS

Lia Thomas v World Aquatics is the 10,000th case registered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) since it was established in 1984 to resolve sports disputes through arbitration. Its headquartered are in Lausanne, and it has tribunals in New York City, Sydney and Lausanne. Temporary ones are established in the current Olympic host cities.

The Caguas Criollos won the Liga de Béisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente (LBPRC) for the 21st time. They triumphed in front of their home crowd, defeating the Carolinas Gigantes 4-1 in the eighth game of the best-of-nine series. They will now compete in the Caribbean Series in Miami from 1-9 February
