French President Macron warned last Thursday of the danger of Russian disinformation during the Paris Olympics, saying his country was ready for the challenge. "I don't doubt" that the Games will be targeted by Russia, "including in the field of information," Macron said at the inauguration of the Aquatic Centre, the largest sports facility built for next summer's Olympics.

New rules to make the event more attractive are being tested in Madrid by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). The tournament will have 16 places based on the singles rankings, will last five days and spectators will be able to move freely around the court. Players will have less time to sit down and the time between serves will be reduced.

The tournament will take place next July in Los Angeles, where the sport will be an Olympic event in 2028. USA Football will announce the final list of twelve players who will represent the country. This youth team will form the foundation for the sport's Olympic debut in Los Angeles in 2028.
