July 16 - Training Camp ETUThe European Triathlon Union (ETU) and the Serbian National Federation (SNF) are set to host an Athlete Development Camp for 16 promising young athletes in Karataš from July 20 to 30.

Over the 10 days, the triathletes and four coaches from 10 emerging and developing national federations from across Europe will attend the camp.

Under the supervision of ETU development coordinator Željko Bijuk and respected Slovenian coach Klemen Laurenčak, the delegates will learn skills and develop strategies that aim to create future success in their triathlon careers.

Malta's Hannah Pace, who won gold at the ETU Triathlon Championships in Alanya, Turkey, in the 20-25 age-group category, will be one of the athletes attending the Karataš sports camp located on the banks of the River Danube.

"In the past, athlete development camps have shown they act as a perfect vehicle for juniors and coaches to advance their skills and knowledge under the ETU Development umbrella," said Bijuk, who has competed in age-group triathlon events, as well as fulfilling executive roles with his native Croatian Triathlon Federation.

"A busy camp schedule allows for separate two-hour training sessions every day on swimming, biking, running and transitions, focusing on skills and technique."
