The festival, due to take place from May 14 until 17, will see the world's judokas descend on the Turkish city, where a range of different events are planned, including a veteran's training camp, a children's day, a judo photography competition and also a medical symposium.

Antalya will also play host to a week-long Olympic Training Camp, scheduled from May 11 to 20, where 400 athletes will be in attendance to prepare for future international tournaments and fans will get the chance to see the judokas perform on the mat.

Other activities to take place at the event include a referee seminar, where the members of EJU Refereeing Commission will offer rule explanations to club coaches, and a kata seminar.

The seminar will offer attendees detailed teaching, with certificates for participation available, and the festival is set to include a judo animation zone.

The medical symposium, meanwhile, will provide key details to doctors of national teams, including explanations of rule changes.

Children and getting young people involved is a central theme to the festival as youngsters will get the opportunity to learn from some of the best at judo master classes, as well as a judo camp, which will allow young judokas to enjoy an attractive, entertaining programme.

The EJU has invited athletes, coaches, referees, doctors, kata lovers and administrators alike to visit the festival, and they claim that there will be something to entertain the whole family.

Antalya also staged the 2014 festival, which was considered a huge success.
