Uzbekistans Umit KamilovJuly 7 - Host nation Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan rode off with the gold medals at the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Central Asia Jumping Championships 2013 in Astana.

Kazakhstan clinched team gold by a margin of three faults from Russia in second place, with Uzbekistan a further two faults back in bronze position.

In the individual contest, which was also an FEI World Cup jumping qualifier for the region, two riders - Uzbekistan's Umit Kamilov (pictured top) and Konstantin Iaroshenko of Ukraine - vied for first and second in a jump-off against the clock.

Kamilov, riding Eloise, came out on top, with his teammate Okil Sabirzhanov picking up bronze.

Combinations from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan took part in the three-day fixture at the Kazanat racetrack in the Kazakhstan capital.
