Samil is the Korean member network firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers Global, and will be responsible for accounting, finance, tax, risk management and other various consulting needs throughout the 2018 Olympic Games.

"We are very happy to receive Samil's professional support as they are undoubtedly one of the best accounting firms in the country," said Kwak Youngjin, vice-president of administration and planning and secretary general of Pyeongchang 2018.

"Pyeongchang 2018 will continuously endeavour to work together with the best organisations in various industries to provide a first class Games experience to all stakeholders and participants."

Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers is the largest professional firm in South Korea and employs nearly 3,700 professionals who offer accounting, tax, financial and managerial consulting services to both private and public enterprises.

The group was established in 191 and works as part of a larger network, providing consulting needs to more than 184,000 people in 157 countries.
