Greece and Russia played out an exhilarating 10-10 draw at the 2017 World Men's Junior Water Polo Championships in Belgrade today.

With the lead constantly changing hands throughout the match, the Russians held a slender 10-9 advantage going into the final minute of play at the Sports Center Milan Gale Muškatirović.

Charalampos Troulos, with his third goal of the match, stole a point for the Greeks in the dying stages.

As a result of the point gained, Greece continue to lead the way in Group A on seven and Russia are in third on three.

The United States occupy second place on four points after they claimed an 18-7 win over Puerto Rico.

The Netherlands claimed their maiden victory of the tournament in Group B, narrowly defeating Japan 14-12.

Spain collected their third win of the competition as they overcame Montenegro 17-12.

Defending champions and hosts Serbia extended their dominant start to the tournament.

They look ominous in their pursuit of back-to-back titles and moved onto six points in Group C with a 25-5 win over New Zealand.

Australia comfortably saw off Argentina 14-5 in this evening's final match to join the Serbians on six points.

Hungary moved onto six points in Group D after recording a thumping 22-5 win over Egypt.

Italy trail behind in second place in the standings on four points as they secured their second win of the tournament today by defeating Canada 11-5.
