VoIP Defender, the United States and Singapore based company, will support the World Curling Federation’s (WCF) flagship junior event - the World Junior Curling Championships - for another year in 2017.

The one-year extension of the title sponsorship will cover the 46th edition of the tournament which, in 2017, will also act as a test event for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang in South Korea.

The business communications and networking company was welcomed as a renewed sponsor by WCF President Kate Caithness.

“It is with great pleasure that we retain VoIP Defender as title sponsor for our World Junior Curling Championships 2017," said Caithness.

"It is an event which will be broadcast to a global audience and showcases the best young curling talent from around the world.”

The VoIP Defender World Junior Curling Championships will see the ten best junior men’s and women’s curling member associations come together to compete for the respective men’s and women’s titles between February 16 and 26 next year at the Gangneung Curling Centre.

This will be the venue for Olympic curling competition in Pyeongchang.

Men's, women’s - and for the first-time, mixed doubles - medal events will take place at the Games.

Wheelchair curling will be held there during the Winter Paralympics.
