The official poster for Canada 2015 has been described as a dynamic piece of art ©FIFA/Canada 2015A "dynamic piece of art" has been unveiled as the official poster for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015.

Shown to the world for the first time at Rio de Janeiro's Maracanã - which will host the men's FIFA World Cup final on Sunday (July 13) - the poster shows a mosaic flowing from the hair of a woman's head.

The mosaic shows off Canada's breathtaking landscapes, mountains, forests, lakes and cityscapes.

It also has an image of a football which doubles as the sun.

"We couldn't be happier with the official poster," said National Organising Committee Chairman Victor Montagliani.

"It's such a dynamic piece of art that truly captures the spirit and beauty of the women's game and Canada's cultural mosaic.

"We can't wait to bring it home to Canada and share it with all Canadians."

The poster, designed to capture the essence of Canada's multicultural society and its great outdoors, was unveiled by Montagliani, FIFA Executive Committee member and chairwoman of the Committee for Women's Football and the FIFA Women's World Cup, Lydia Nsekera, and FIFA World Cup ambassador Marta of Brazil.

Brazil 2014 mascot Fuleco was joined by Canada 2015 mascot Shuéme in a rare joint appearance at the unveiling.

FIFA marketing director Thierry Weil said: "The poster forms a key part of the visual identity of the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 and perfectly captures the extraordinary diversity of the host nation.

"I'm sure this will help to generate even more excitement as we move towards the tournament."

The Women's World Cup is due to be held from June 6 to July 5 2015.

Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, and Moncton will all stage Games during the tournament, which will see 24 teams competing for the trophy.
