February 9 - The Brighton Marathon has built a whole weekend of events around the race on Sunday April 10, starting with a free-to-enter Running and Healthy Lifestyle Exhibition at the Brighton Centre on Saturday April 9.

Doors open at 10am with at least 10,000 people expected to flood 100 stalls at the Retail Village while grabbing a bite at the Pasta Café and refuelling station.

There will be a timetable of rolling seminars with expert advice from former Olympians and industry experts dispensing tips on training, nutrition, equipment and health care.

For those not familiar with the city, there is a Best of Brighton and Hove sector where insights can be gleaned into what the city and county of Sussex have to offer.

Anyone keen to sign up for the Brighton Marathon in Olympic year 2012 will have the opportunity to register early and make safe their number for next year.

There will also be several freebies handed out and when the dust has settled there is an Art Exhibition by Brighton-based artists on the theme of the marathon or interactive stands generating fun and excitement for all the family.
