asicsJune 6 - Japanese sportswear manufacturer Asics have extended their five-year relationship with English Netball by signing a new deal that will see the brand continue to supply footwear to the senior and under-21 teams, as well as coaching staff.

England Netball have had a promising season so far, securing a £25 million ($39 million/€29 million) investment from Sport England on the road to Rio 2016, and defeating world champions Australia in a series.

England also finished second in the Netball Europe Open earlier this month with a new-look young squad that showed they can hold their own at the top level as the race for selection to the 2014 Commonwealth Games squad in Glasgow.
