PSA_websiteJuly 29 - The Professional Squash Association (PSA) has launched www.psaworldtour.com, a website newly created to reflect men's professional squash's growing status.

The site is designed by digital media company Perform, and provides a range of regularly updated news on the PSA World Tour.

This includes results from events, images and archiving of results and data, as well as the tournament calendar, Dunlop PSA world rankings and world series standings.

It will also feature player stats, biographies and head to head data, details of past champions, general information about the PSA and contact details of national federations.

"We are extremely excited about unveiling the PSA's new website," explained PSA chief executive Alex Gough.

"It was put on hold at the end of last year as we had back to back World Series events and we also had to focus our energies on our new TV output.

"With the new site we will be able to showcase all of our World Tour events and our amazing athletes in a much more professional way.

"It will help give a clearer understanding of professional squash and will be a great tool in our endeavours to continue to grow the whole sport.

"The men's game is in fantastic shape at the moment and we are looking forward to the second half of the year starting up again next month with the World Series Australian Open in Canberra.

"It is our aim to make the new site the first port of call for all followers of the men's game around the world, ultimately with major events inputting live scores as they happen directly from officials' new computer tablet scoring devices," added Gough.

The PSA contains 500 members from 67 countries, and boasts a prize fund of in excess of $3 million (£1.8 million/€2.1 million)
