Tulsa still hoping to bid for 2020 Olympics

March 5 - Tulsa officials are pushing ahead with a proposed bid for the 2020 Olympics despite United States Olympic Committee (USOC) chief executive Scott Blackmun claiming that there are currently no plans to put forward a candidate to host the Games.

March 4 - Sir Keith Mills (pictured), chief executive of the successful London 2012 bid, admitted today that his team had not worked out all the details to underpin one of the key commitments which earned them the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) vote in Singapore five years ago.
