Live streaming_20_JuneJune 21 - European Athletics will stream live the Helsinki 2012 European Championships, from June 27 to July 1, backed up with English-language commentary.

Athletics supporters will be able to watch the championships live in their entirety as well as being able to instantly rewind the action and watch on-demand video of an event just a few minutes after it has finished.

English commentary throughout the morning, afternoon and evening sessions will add further colour to the live action.

The live streaming platform will be provided in partnership with European Athletics' principal sponsor, the retailer SPAR.

It will be available worldwide except for Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and Mexico.

Additionally, a Facebook feature will allow fans to chat with each other as they watch the action unfold, while they can follow all the latest news and opinions on the championships through @Euro_Champs and @EuroAthletics Twitter feeds, and view all tweets with a #Helsinki2012 hashtag.
Helsinki 2012_logo_20_JuneDuring this year's championships, athletes' post-competition interviews will be uploaded to the European Athletics' YouTube site.

Videos, photos, news articles and more will be posted to the new European Athletics Championships Facebook fan page and dedicated Twitter feed @Euro_Champs.

On top of all this, the European Athletics website will carry all the latest news from Helsinki 2012 in the final month leading up to the event and throughout the five-day championships.

And with one week to go until the event, fans clicking on the live stream link today can relive the Barcelona 2010 championships courtesy of a special promotional video featured on the European Athletics site.
