Fratres Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu wins adult team competition at European Championships. INSTAGRAM

The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) European Jiu-Jitsu Championships were held in Paris from 20 to 27 January. Fratres Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu won the team competition in both adult categories - male and female.

Art of Jiu Jitsu was the second in the adult male category, while Qatar BJJ / Vision Brasil was the third. In the adult female category GFTeam - Jiu Art was second and DreamArt took the third place. 

Gutemberg de Jesus Santos Pereira of Art of Jiu Jitsu won gold medals in both the adult male black belt ultra heavy and open class categories. Gabrieli Pessanha de Souza Marinho was the best in the Adult Female Black Belt Super Heavy and Open Class categories. 

In "Juvenile" category, Alliance was the best team, leaving behind Art of Jiu Jitsu and CheckMat. CheckMat won the team competition in the Masters category, Gracie Barra was the second and GFTeam - Jiu Art closed the podium. In the Novice category, Gracie Barra took first position, IFT was second and third place went to Icon Jiu-Jitsu Team.
