The Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International School Sport Federation (ISF) Mexico.

Both parties were on hand in Mexican city Aguascalientes to ink the deal, which has the aim of developing taekwondo in the Americas.

"This memorandum is established in order to strengthen collaborative ties for the promotion of taekwondo sport and taekwondo in education at the local level," said PATU President Juan Manuel Lopez Delgado.

"This will attract enthusiasts of this martial sport at school age, as well as more practitioners, improving the cooperation of PATU and ISF-MEX, and will contribute to the publicity and diffusion of taekwondo in the media."
