Double-double from Leia Dongue underlined what a great tournament she has been having.

Uganda got the better of Democratic Republic of Congo 78-62 to get fix their quarter-final match against hosts Rwanda.

Once again, it was the losing side that pushed in the beginning, racing toa 15-12 lead before the Gazelles managed to level the scores at 30-30.

But the Ugandans controlled the match after half time as Jannon Otto led from the front with 18 points and nine rebounds.

If they qualify for the semi-finals, it will be a first as Uganda has never managed to achieve that in two previous attempts.
