Mészáros, silver medallist at the 2022 European Championships, recorded a score of 14.550 in the men's floor exercise to take gold, ahead of Nicolau Mir of Spain with 13.850 and Israel's Eliran Ioscovich who scored 13.600.

A second gold for Meszaros came in the vault where he scored 13.750 to beat compatriot Botond Molnar with13.725. 

Israel's Pavel Gulidov received 13.700 for bronze.

Mészáros was beaten on the pommel horse by Israel’s Maccabiah Games all-around champion Eyal Indig who scored 14.150 to confirm his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Mészáros scored 13.950, the same as Germany’s Glenn Trebling, but claimed silver with the higher execution score.

"Coming back and winning the gold medal in front of my home crowd in Israel was an unreal experience," Indig said.

"I have been working very hard over the past nine months to get ready in time for this competition and am happy I could deliver an excellent performance. 

"I’m ready to get back in the gym and upgrade the routine even more."

On the parallel bars, Turkey’s Ahmed Onder won gold with 14.350 to beat Mészáros who took another silver with 14.200, just edging out European Championship bronze medallist Thierno Diallo of Spain on 14.150.

Another Spaniard, Nestor Abad, won a tight contest on the horizontal bar with 13.800 ahead of Israeli Alexander Myakinin's 13.600 and Trebling who collected another bronze with 13.400.

Gold on the horizontal bar went to Austria’s Vinzenz Hoeck after a score of 14.600. 

Abad was forced to settle for silver this time with 14.000 and bronze went to Australia's Zachary Perillo after a score of 13.600.

In the women’s competition, Godwin repeated her Commonwealth Games performance in Birmingham with gold in the vault. 

Her score of 13.200 led the competition ahead of Hungary’s Csenge Bacskay with 13.150 and Morgane Osyssek-Reimer of France with 12.817.

Godwin recorded a second win in the floor exercises with 13.567. 

Osyssek-Reimer’s 13.367 gave her silver and Alba Petisco of Spain received a score of 13.167 for bronze.

Slovakia's Barbora Mokošová defeated Godwin on the uneven bars. 

Her score was 13.300 whilst Godwin’s only received 12.867 for her routine.

Margaux Dandois of Belgium won bronze with 12.200.

Double Olympian Marine Boyer of France took balance beam gold with 13.567.

Spain’s Ana Perez marked her return to international action after a two year absence following two broken ankles, with a score of 12.867 which gave her silver.

Lea Franceries of France marked her first appearance in an FIG World Challenge Cup with bronze after a score of 12.833.

The FIG World Challenge Cup Series continues with the third of six events in Osijek, Croatia, on June 8.
