The final is due to be staged on the third day alongside the 200m heats and semi-final.

The 200m final is anticipated to be saved for the final day of competition, in addition to the medal ceremony.

"The event offers the opportunity to welcome many of you to our new artificial white water course for the first time although it was the floor to the previous Olympic Qualifiers competition but at the least number of participants," Admiral Chainarong Charoenruk, the President of the Rowing and Canoeing Association of Thailand, said in a letter to the competitors.

"The teams will have good opportunity to challenge themselves and we hope that it will prove a favour to your next choice of paddling fun."
