Paralympic medallists and world champions feature in a star-studded United States elite Para triathlon national team line-up set to compete throughout the 2022 season.

Tokyo 2020 gold medallists Allysa Seely, Kendall Gretsch, Brad Snyder and his guide Greg Billington headline the announcement as they prepare to compete at World Triathlon Para Series events and World Triathlon Para Cup over the course of the year.

Hailey Danz, who won a second Paralympic silver in Japan, is also in the squad after triumphing at the 2021 World Triathlon Para Championships in Abu Dhabi.

Rio de Janeiro 2016 gold medallist Grace Norman has been selected following her silver medal at Tokyo 2020.

Chris Hammer and Kelly Elmlinger, won also won gold in Abu Dhabi, make up the rest of the team with Kyle Coon and his guide Zack Goodman.

"The group of elite athletes named to the 2022 Toyota U.S. elite Paratriathlon team have strong podium potential in the ever-improving elite ranks and are bona fide contenders for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which are now only a short two years away," said Amanda Duke Boulet, USA Triathlon Paralympic programme director.

"We’re so excited to build off the momentum of the great performances our elite Para triathletes had in Tokyo and in other international competition, and through world-class coaching and access to training resources and facilities, these athletes have what it takes to continue to win medals consistently on the international stage."

The athletes are set to compete at the Americas Triathlon Para Championships in Sarasota in Florida from March 12 to 13 in what is the first elite event of the year.
