Cerebral Palsy (CP) Sport has opened an online shop stocking clothing and kit for adults and children with the proceeds directly helping the organisation to give people with cerebral palsy access to sport.

The shop follows the rebranding of CP Sport in August which aimed to create an environment that all members of the cerebral palsy community could be a part of.

"It is great to be able to announce the launch of our new online shop and a brand new service we can offer to everyone interested in getting involved with CP Sport," Adi Fawcett, chief operating officer at CP Sport, said.

"Leading up to the shop launch we have enjoyed working with our sponsors such as JMW and Target HR to develop bespoke kit for the events they have been involved with.

"The CP Sport team working alongside Kinect-International have done a brilliant job pulling this together and we would like to thank everyone who has been involved in developing this new CP Sport service."

It is the first time that CP Sport has run an online shop with hopes that it will encourage more people to engage with the community and enable the charity to continue its support of people with cerebral palsy.

It encourages people to wear the apparel with pride to raise awareness for the condition.

A variety of t-shirts, hoodies, bags and hats are available while members of CP Sport are entitled to a free t-shirt.

In its rebrand, CP Sport stated having an accessible and mobile responsive website was a priority to the charity.

CP Sport is Britain's national disability sports organisation supporting the country's estimated 160,000 people with cerebral palsy to get physically active.
