The line-ups for the three finals at the World Youth Bowls Championships in Broadbeach have been decided.

Australia's Kristina Krstic and New Zealand's Katelyn Inch will contest the women's singles final after making it through their elimination rounds.

Krstic saw off compatriot Chloe Steward in her first elimination match by a 21-17 scoreline before recording a comfortable 21-7 victory over Tayla Bruce of New Zealand in her semi-final.

Inch's route to the final saw her beat Shae Wilson of Norfolk Island 21-17 before coming out on top against Australia's Ellen Ryan 21-15 in her last four encounter.

Over in the men's singles draw, Wales' Ross Owen booked his place in the final thanks to 21-12 and 21-15 wins over Hong Kong's Jason Choi and men's section two winner Daeng Dahasry of Malaysia.

Owen will now face in-form Aaron Teys of Australia.

As was the case with Dahasry, section one winner Teys was given a bye to the semi-final where he recorded a 21-13 win over compatriot Corey Wedlock, who, after making a good start to the competition, has seen his form dip at just the wrong time.

Wedlock's poor form continued in the mixed pairs competition as he and Krstic lost their semi-final bout to Wilson and Scotland's Ryan Burnett 23-18.

Wilson and Burnett will come up against Ryan and in-form Teys in the final after they beat Malta's Connie Rixon and Namibia's Cabous Olivier 17-16.

The finals at Broadbeach Bowls Club, which will host bowls competition at the upcoming Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in April, will take place tomorrow.
