Düsseldorf is set to stage the second event of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Indoor Tour tomorrow.

The 13th edition of the PSD Bank meeting will take place at the Arena-Sportpark in the German city.

It will be the second event in Germany, following the opening competition of the series three days ago in Karlsruhe.

More than 130 athletes from nearly 40 countries are set to compete across 11 disciplines, including the men's and women's 60 metres.

China's Su Bingtian will hope to build upon his Asian record time of 6.47 seconds in Karlsruhe, but is expected to come under pressure from Cuba's Yunier Perez and St Kitts and Nevis' Kim Collins.

The women's event will see defending Indoor Tour champion Gayon Evans take to the track.

United States' Barbara Pierre, the 2016 world champion, will also be in contention for victory.

Home chances of success could be high in the men's pole vault, with Raphael Holzdeppe boasting the world lead of 5.88m.

He will face competition from world champion Sam Kendricks of the US, as well as 2014 indoor world champion Konstadinos Filippidis of Greece.

Other IAAF Indoor legs are scheduled for Madrid, Boston and Torun before the series' conclusion in Glasgow on February 25.

It is building up to the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham in March.
