Poland beat The Netherlands in group one on the final day of the International Floorball Federation (IFF) European Floorball World Championship qualifiers.

It had looked like The Netherlands could pull off a shock at the Kalevi Sports Hall in Tallinn when Niek Vovius scored after just four minutes of play.

Poland equalised through Mateusz Turwon just 11 minutes later and were comfortable from that moment on, eventually winning 6-2 to qualify for the World Championships for the fourth time in their history.

Also in group one, defending champions Finland defeated hosts Estonia 15-1 in a match between two sides that have already qualified for the Championships, due to take place in Prague from December 1 to 9 later this year.

Belgium beat Lichtenstein 14-5 in the group's dead-rubber event.

Germany also qualified for the World Championship, beating France 17-3 in their group two match at the Sport Hall Klokocina in Nitra.

Sweden secured their place at the top of the group with a 9-5 win over hosts Slovakia.

Norway confirmed their place at the top of group four, also taking place in Nitra, with a 7-6 win over Denmark.

Both teams had already qualified for the World Championship.

The other group four match saw Great Britain claim their first win of the qualifying campaign with a 7-4 victory against Austria.

Both teams still finished towards the bottom of the group.
