Germany scored 15 goals in the first half before adding a further 12 in the second at the Roller Skate Park.

Spain, winners of last year's WorId Championship title in Iquique in Chile, maintained their excellent start.

They brushed aside France 10-1.

In Group B Portugal, World Championships silver medallists, continued their poor form.

After drawing their opening match 2-2 with Chile and losing 5-2 to 2014 champions Argentina, they were once again beaten today.
