Sebastien Toutant collected victory on home snow at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup in Quebec.

The Canadian performed best in the two-run final, where the riders' best effort counted to the overall score.

The 24-year-old Quebec native achieved a best display of 84.81 to defeat team-mate Mark McMorris.

McMorris, who was crowned as the overall big air champion in Quebec, tallied 84.60.

Bronze went to Marcus Kleveland of Norway who managed 84.16.

Toutant landed a cab double cork 1260 tail to frontside double cork 1080 mute, and a backside 1440 mute on the three-kicker jump line, in his winning effort.

He then pulled off a tailslide to 270 out on the creative hip feature, while finishing things off with a 270 out and a cab 270 in the rail section at the bottom of the course.

His success came in the second run after he fell in the first.

"Not making the cut in yesterday's big air was for sure a bummer with all my friends and family here," Toutant said.

"And then I fell on the first jump in my first run, I couldn't believe it.

"I had a ton of pressure in my second run for sure but I tried to stay focused.

"I knew I had that run which I landed a couple of times in practice.

"I'm super happy that I put it down.

"Taking a win in Quebec in front of my home crowd is awesome."
