China won four out of the five titles available as the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Junior Championships concluded today at the Bilbao Arena in Spain.

The only prize to elude the Chinese - already the mixed team world champions - was the women's doubles on a day which they otherwise dominated.

Sun Feixiang claimed the boys' singles title as he came through against Indonesia's Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo 21-19, 21-12.

The number five seed only dropped one game all tournament on his way to glory.

His compatriot Chen Yufei, the second seed, claimed the girls' singles prize by ousting Thailand's third seed Pornpawee Chochuwong in the final, 21-14, 21-17.

After three mixed team gold medals over the last three years, this was a first individual crown for Chen.

In the men's doubles, top seeds Han Chengkai and Zhou Haodong beat unseeded South Korean duo Lee Hong-sub and Lim Su-min to seal glory, 21-17, 21-14.

The victory followed disappointment for Zhou as he and mixed doubles partner Hu Yuxiang were beaten by compatriots He Jiting and Du Yue, 21-13, 21-15.

Du would also have a day of mixed fortunes as she was beaten in the girls' doubles final alongside Xu Ya.

The top seeds lost out to Japan's second seeds Sayaka Hobara and Nami Matsuyama, who denied China a clean sweep with a 25-23, 19-21, 21-14 success.
