The Edmonton-based company have penned an agreement with the national governing body through to the 2018-2019 season.

As part of the deal, rising star Jeffrey Read will also bear the PCL brand on his helmets, toques and ball caps throughout this current season.

"PCL's new multi-year partnership with Alpine Canada, focused on the next generation of Canadian ski racing, will ensure that our country continues its place as a world-leading ski nation, for years to come.

"PCL's support will be instrumental in providing our talented development team athletes with world-class coaching, sport science and equipment, required to win on the world stage.

"We are very grateful to have a dedicated partner in PCL to support these critical high performance ski racing programmes."

The company, which over 4,400 employees in the United States, Canada and Australia and was founded in 1906, will also become an official supporter of the Alpine Canada’s National Ski Day event.

The third anniversary of the National Ski Day is due to be held on January 14,when Canadians will head to their local ski resort to celebrate the sport.
