Erik Røste has been re-elected President of the Norwegian Ski Association for the next two years during the body's General Assembly in Trondheim.

Røste, who took over Sverre K. Seeberg in 2012, will be re-joined by vice-president Eva-Tine Riis-Johannessen.

The team will focus upon preparations for Pyeongchang 2018, where Norway will be hoping to improve upon second place behind Russia on the overall medals table.

“Thank you for your confidence," Røste said afterwards.

"I'll do my very best to move Norwegian and international skiing forward.

"I look forward to working with the new board, administration, clubs and all members of Ski Norway.

"Going forward, we can create positive results together.

"We have a new vision where among other things we need to focus on recruitment and keeping youth involved."
