As has been the case all week so far, hosts South Korea proved the sharpest shooters at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range picking up another three gold medals.

Geun-Soo Kim smashed the R4 mixed 10 metre air rifle standing SH2 world record with a score of 211.6 to take gold ahead of Iranian shooter Masoumeh Khodabakhshi and team mate Ju-Young Kang.

There was further home success for Ju-Hee Lee in the P3 mixed 25m pistol SH1 after he finished ahead of China's Hedong Ni and compatriot Sea-Kyun Park.

Jin-Ho Park rounded off a clean-sweep for South Korea after shooting his way to gold in the R6 mixed 50m rifle prone SH1.

Silver and bronze went to the United Arab Emirates' Paralympic champion Abdulla Sultan Alayrani and Abdulla Saif Alaryani respectively.

Iran's World Championship silver medallist Seyedhamed Solhipouravanji went one better in Incheon today by claiming gold and a world record in the men's under 88kg powerlifting competition.

Solhipouravanji produced a second round lift of 226kg to beat Jordan's world champion Mutaz Zakaria Daoud Aljuneidi, who had to settle for silver.

Buoyed on by his success, 24-year-old Solhipouravanji then lifted 229.5kg in the fourth round to add 0.5kg to Aljuneidi's world record set in April.

Mongolia's Sodnompiljee Enkhbayar  completed the podium with bronze.

China's reigning world champion Xiaofei Gu secured the men's under 80kg title to beat Iranian Majid Farzin into second place while bronze went to Thailand's Thongsa Marasri.

In the women's under 73kg class, Thailand's Arawan Bootpo claimed gold and a new Asian record with a third round lift of 116kg.

Her lift was one kilogram more than the previous record set by Indonesia's Nurtani Purba two years ago, with silver and bronze going to Syria's Rasha Alshikh and Mayagozel Ekeyeva of Turkmenistan.

Kazakhstan's Zulfiya Gabidullina was the world record breaker in the pool as she powered her way to gold in the women's S5 50m freestyle.

Gabidullina's time of 46.40sec shaved 0.66 off the previous mark set by Ukraine's Olga Sviderska in August and saw her finish ahead of Singapore's Theresa Goh and Juan Bai of China.

There was further success for Kazakhstan as they took the men's 4x100m medal 49 points race while Anuar Akhmetov finished ahead of compatriot Andrey Afanasyev to secure a one-two in the men's SB12 100m breaststroke.

Chinese Paralympic champion and world record holder Tao Zheng dominated in his favourite race, the men's S6 100m backstroke to win the gold medal ahead of Iraq's Jawad Joudah.

There was further gold medal wins for China's Yajing Huang in the women's S8 100m backstroke, Yinan Wang in the men's equivalent, while Furong Lin won his fifth medal of the Games in the men's SB9 100m breaststroke.

Japan's Keiichi Kimura added a third gold medal to his tally comfortably winning the men's SB 11 100m breaststroke while compatriot Daisuke Ejima powered to the men's S7 100m backstroke title.

The final world record of the day was set by China's Yang Liwan over at the Asid Main Stadium as she threw 18.45 metres to win gold in the women's F53/54 javelin.

Team mate Zou Lijuan began the day by claiming the women's F34 shot put crown while compatriots Qiangian Jia and Yanping Wang took the honours in the women's F37/38 javelin and T47 long jump.

Elsewhere in field events, Iran claimed four gold medals in the form of Mohammadali Malekpour in the men's F54/55 discus while Sagedh Beit Sayah took home the men's F41 discus title.

Danial Souraniyancheshmeh threw 12.44m to take top honours in the men's F35/36 shot put with the men's F42 shot put crown going the way of Sajad Mohammadian.

Meanwhile, on the track, China dominated once again.

Hongzhuan Zhou won the women's T53 400m title before Wenjun Liu secured the women's T54 crown.

The men's T37 200m and women's T12 200m titles were claimed by Guangxu Shang and Yaqin Shen respectively while Hao Wang stormed to gold in the men's T47 100m final.

Malaysia secured a double as Azlan Mat Lazin crossed the line first in the men's T36 400m before compatriot Mohamad Faizal Aideal Suhaimi took gold in men's T12 100m.
