Sergey Malyshev_17-04-12April 17 - Russia dominated at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Shooting World Cup in Szczecin, Poland, to lay down a pre-London 2012 marker.

In the men's air pistol SH1, Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games silver medallist Sergey Malyshev (pictured) of Russia took the gold ahead of Turkey's Korhan Yamaç and compatriot Valeriy Ponomarenko, who won gold in Beijing.

Russia was equally dominant in the P1 men's events, with Malyshev again taking gold and Ponomarenko bronze in the individual event, while Yamaç won silver.

In the team event Russia won ahead of Turkey and Poland.

Aysel Özgan won gold in the women's air pistol SH1 for Turkey, with Russia's Marina Klimenchenko taking silver and Krisztina David of Hungary bronze.

The air rifle standing men's gold was won by Britain's Nathan Milgate ahead of fellow Briton Matthew Skelhon, another silver medallist from Beijing.

Slovak Radoslav Malenovsky was third, the same position he achieved in the R3 mixed 10m air rifle prone SH1, won by Poland's Waldemar Andruszkiewicz, with Skelhon again second.

Malenovsky had more luck in the 10m air rifle prone SH1 team event, where he won with Jozef Široký and Beijing 2008 gold medal winner Veronika Vadovicova, ahead of Polish trio Tadeusz Burski, Jolanta Szulc and Andruszkiewicz.

Frank Heitmeyer of Germany won the P5 mixed air pistol standard SH1, ahead of Austria's Hubert Aufschnaiter and home favourite Slawomir Okoniewski.

The falling target pistol event was another which went to Yamaç, but Poland took the other two podium spots through Okoniewski and Wojciech Kosowski.

Ukraine's Iurii Stoiev won gold in the falling target rifle SH1, ahead of Vadovicova and Lorraine Lambert of Britain.

Another Ukrainian, Vasyl Kovalchuk, won gold in the falling target rifle SH2 ahead of British duo Adam Fontain and Georgina Callingham.

Another pair of bronze medals was won by Coates and Fontain for Britain – the former losing to Turkey's Pervin Aylı and Anja Maurer of Germany in the 10m air rifle standing SH1, and the latter finishing behind French pair Tanguy de la Forest and Raphael Voltz in the R4 mixed 10m air rifle standing SH2.

Voltz, who took two silver medals four years' ago in Beijing, then claimed gold in the R5 mixed 10m air rifle prone SH2 ahead of Kovalchuk and Greece's Anastasios Boutis.

This year was the fourth in a row that the World Cup event took place in Poland, with 139 shooters from 24 nations battling for glory.
