Glasgow_2014_announces_Search_Consultancy_as_sponsor_September_13_2011September 13 - Search Consultancy were today unveiled as the second Tier Two sponsors of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.


The Glasgow-based firm, which claims to be one of the UK's fastest growing total recruitment companies, have been set the headline grabbing task of filling 1,044 jobs with 1,044 days to go until the start of the Games. 

Search Consultancy, which will be the Official Recruitment Agency for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, will be looking to place workers in jobs ranging from technical sporting roles to corporate positions to event management. 

"We have 1,044 days until the Opening Ceremony and I am delighted to announce that Search has officially become part of our Glasgow 2014 Family to recruit 1,044 jobs for the Organising Committee," said David Grevemberg, the Glasgow 2014 chief executive.

"Search's ethos is founded on finding the best of Scottish talent across a range of sectors, and as we will be recruiting so many people in a short period of time we need that all-important local knowledge to deliver the skilled workforce to stage an outstanding Games in three years' time.

"It goes without saying that Search will help us deliver a huge economic boost to Glasgow and Scotland in recruiting these 1,044 jobs, and leave a lasting and positive legacy for the Scottish workforce."

Search Consultancy join Harper Macleod, who were last week announced as the Games' Official Law firm.·
