November 19 - Team Sky today announced the signings of Italians Dario Cioni (pictured) and Davide Vigano bringing the total number of riders contracted to the new British outfit to 24.

 

Since Vigano turned pro with Quickstep-Innergetic in 2005, he has had top 10 stage finishes in the Tour of Spain, Giro d'Italia and Tour of Germany.

 

This season the 25-year old sprinter finished sixth in Germany’s biggest one-day race, Vattenfall Cyclassics.

 

Cioni, 34, will enter his 12th pro season with Team Sky having been with Italian squad ISD, Silence-Lotto and Liquigas.

 

A former national time trial champion, he has had top five finishes in the Giro d'Italia, Tour of Romandie and Tour of Slovenia.
