November 15 - Yelena Isinbayeva (pictured), the world record holder for the pole vault, will have a truncated indoor season in 2010, she has announced.

The two-time Olympic champion will participate in only three indoor competitions next season starting with the Russian Winter Meeting, an International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) permit event in Moscow on February 7.

It will be the first time that Isinbayeva has competed in Russia since August 2007.

Her indoor season will culminate with the World Indoor Championships in Doha, Qatar, which take place between March 12 and 14.

The Russian will also take part in a special meet in Donyetsk, Ukraine, organised by her mentor and pole vault legend Sergey Bubka on March 6.
