altBRITAIN'S Shanaze Reade (pictured) collected a second World Championships gold medal in Taiwan today and also booked her place in the Beijing Olympics.

Reade, 19, from Crewe, won it for the first time on her debut in the tournament last year and is heavy favourite to follow up her success this weekend with Olympic gold later this summer.

There was little doubt Reade was going to win after a spectacular start.

Reade, a two-time world champion on the track in the team sprint, will compete solely in the BMX discipline at the Olympics.
