THE Free Tibet Group have today revealed details of their plans to protest when the Olympic torch relay passes through London on Sunday.

Organisers have identified two key sites to show their opposition to Beijing hosting this year's Olympics.

They are at the corner of Queensway and Bayswater Road when the torch is expected to pass at approximately 11.30am.

Then 90 minutes later again opposite Downing Street at Richmond Terrace in Whitehall.

A large turn-out is expected and up to 2,000 police will be on duty to try to ensure that there is no disruption to the torch during its 31-mile route.

The group is also holding a Tibetan Freedom Torch Rally at Argyle Square, London WC1, from 2.30pm which will feature reunited Drapchi nuns, Lhadon Tethong, Chino and Joe Driscoll, MP Norman Baker and Tibetan musicians.

They will then light a "Tibetan freedom torch" to demand an end to China's occupation of Tibet.
