Paddy Power are offering odds of 40/1 that London will back out of hosting the Olympics due to the economic difficulties.

 

Bookmakers are also offering odds on which city will follow London and host the 2016 Olympics, a decision on which is due to a year tomorrow on October 2, 2009, at the International Olympic Committee's Session in Copenhagen.

 

Chicago are 10/1 to host to win with Bet365and Paddy Power.

 

Tokyo is 11/4 with Bet365, Rio de Janeiro is 4/1 with Paddy Power and Madrid is 15/2 with Bet365.
