Deloitte -_Apolo_Anton_OhnoApril 3 - Deloitte  LLP has renewed its sponsorship of the US Olympic and Paralympic teams for a further eight years, it has been announced.

The company – one of the world's leading business services firms who are a Tier Two London 2012 sponsor – has agreed to extend its official support of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) until 2020.

The two organisations originally joined forces three years ago.

Scott Blackmun, chief executive of USOC, commented: "This renewal is very good news for the US Olympic and Paralympic teams.

"From the beginning of our relationship in 2009, Deloitte has been instrumental in our mission to enable America's athletes to realise their Olympic and Paralympic dreams.

Apolo Anton Ohno (pictured, in centre), an eight-times Winter Olympic short-track speed skating medallist, added: "The culture at Deloitte is unique, positive and contagious, and I am happy to be a part of this team."
