Hasanboy Dusmatov wins IBA Pro World Flyweight Championship. IBA

In front of a packed Humo Arena, the first IBA Pro Flyweight World Champion was crowned at the IBA Champions' Night. Local favourite Hasanboy Dusmatov defeated Spain's Samuel Carmona by unanimous decision.

Dusmatov and Carmona fought an electrifying 10-round bout characterised by intense exchanges, with the crowd cheering enthusiastically for every successful combination by their first local IBA Pro World Flyweight champion at the IBA Champions' Night.

At the end of the fight, Dusmatov was awarded a unanimous decision by all three judges, with scores of 99-91, 100-90, and 97-93 in his favour. IBA President Umar Kremlev then presented Dusmatov, affectionately known as "Professor", with the championship belt.

Legendary Hall of Fame announcer Michael Buffer introduced the two main events of the evening, adding to the excitement in the arena.



Russia's Artem Suslenkov defeated USA's Michael Hunter in the co-main event, using aggressive tactics and effective body shots to secure an eight-round victory.

The undercard of the event featured six bouts, all of which ended with Uzbek boxers emerging victorious. Their dominance was evident in all of them, as they displayed their skill and ability in the ring to ultimately secure victory in each bout.

Uzbekistan's junior world champion Jakhongir Zokirov took on Croatia's Agron Smakici, with the local boxer showing caution and precision with his punches. Despite Smakici's experience, the Azerbaijani used his height advantage to dominate the bout and secure a unanimous decision victory.

Uzbekistan's Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev, the reigning IBA world champion, dominated his first eight-round bout against Turkey's Fatih Keles at 67kg. His speed, movement and strategic adaptability overwhelmed Keles and led to a decisive unanimous decision victory.


Uzbekistan's Alokhon Abdullaev secured a knockout victory over Mongolia's Otgonjargal Jargal in the 75kg opener, while 2017 IBA World Championships silver medallist Ikboljon Kholdorov won a unanimous decision over Kazakhstan's Sagadat Rakhmankul at 71kg.

In the 63.5kg category, Uzbek Mujibullo Tursunov controlled the bout against Tanzania's Juma Chocki Ramadhani and applied relentless pressure to secure victory.

Uzbekistan's Elnur Abduraimov won a unanimous decision over Mexico's Carlos Ornelas in the -60kg division, showing resilience and precision with his punches.
