Hosted by GAMMA ARGENTINA (Asociacion Civil con Personeria Juridica de Artes Marciales y Deportes de Combate), the three-day tournament will be held at the Club Náutico. 

There will be 17 senior weight categories open for entry, including male and female, in the two disciplines of MMA and Striking MMA. The MMA bouts will be held under the GAMMA Amateur MMA rules to ensure safe competition on consecutive days, but are open to both amateur and professional elite martial arts competitors. There will also be the Pan American MMA Youth Championships for 16-17 year olds with open brackets in all weight classes. Participating nations can enter a maximum of two athletes per weight class in each tournament. Athletes wishing to participate should contact their national federation. 

GAMMA ARGENTINA Secretary and Sport Director, Lucio Gianni, said: "It will be a pleasure to welcome the best athletes from all over the continent to a city with as much sporting significance as Rosario. We firmly believe that it will be a great boost for all combat sports in Argentina."

GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt said: "We are delighted to organise our 2024 Pan American Championships in the beautiful country of Argentina, giving talent from across the continent the opportunity to compete on a global stage against international competition." 

"As we continue to promote the development of talent throughout Pan-America through our national federations, we anticipate an exceptional exchange in the GAMMA ring in Rosario and look forward to crowning new Pan-American champions and medalists," he concluded.
