Ukraine had lost three finals on the first day of the women's gold medal bouts at the 2024 European Wrestling Championships. They had one more finalist on the second day and Iryna Koliadenko finally brought the first gold medal to the Ukrainian team.

Koliadenko defeated Romania's Kateryna Zelenykh 6-0 in the -65 kg final. The bronze medals went to Elis Manolova of Azerbaijan and Irina Ringaci of Moldova. With Koliadrnko's gold, Ukraine won the team event ahead of Turkey and Romania.

Türkiye had one gold medal on the second day. Nesrin Bas won the -72 kg final against another Romanian, Alexandre Anghel. Yuliana Yaneva and Viktoria Choluj were third. Vanesa Kaladzinskaya (Individual Neutral Athletes) won the gold medal in the -53 kg category, defeating returning champion Emma Malmgren (Sweden) in the final. 

Natalia Malysheva (Individual Neutral Athletes) and Zeynep Yetgil of Türkiye went home with bronze medals. Another individual athlete, Iryna Kurachkina, was the best in the -57 kg category. She defeated Bulgaria's Evelina Nikolova in the final. Solomiia Vynnyk (Ukraine) shared third place on the podium with Anhelina Lysak (Poland).

Norway's Grace Bullen won her third European title, beating Germany's Luisa Niemesch. Third place went to Yulia Tkach Ostapchuk (Ukraine) and Veranika Ivanova (Individual Neutral Athletes).
