Successful meeting of the Pan American Taekwondo Union. PATU

The president of the Pan American Taekwondo Union, Juan Manuel López, successfully chaired a meeting with representatives from 35 countries in the region to discuss technical and administrative aspects of the upcoming Olympic qualifying event to be held in the Dominican Republic in April. The meeting highlighted the unity and commitment of the Pan American Taekwondo family. Key issues were discussed to ensure a spectacular event in the Caribbean nation.  

After the meeting, President López expressed his satisfaction with the commitment and cooperation shown by the representatives of the Pan American countries, and stressed the crucial role of the upcoming qualifying event. "The meeting was an important step towards the successful hosting of the qualifying event in the Dominican Republic. The Pan American Taekwondo family remains united and working together to promote our sport in the region. We are committed to providing a high level event and giving our athletes the best conditions to achieve their Olympic dreams," said Juan Manuel López. 

The Pan American Qualifying Tournament for Paris 2024 will take place on 9 and 10 April.
