Agreement between the Spanish Handball Federation and the Handball Federation of Saudi Arabia for the development of handball RFEBM

The agreement was unveiled this evening in Dammam, during the visit of the president of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM) to Saudi Arabia to attend the IHF Super Globe 2023.

The president of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation, Francisco V. Blázquez, and his counterpart in the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation, Fadel Ali Alnemer, have signed a significant collaboration agreement for the development of handball in all its aspects in the Asian country.

The agreement was presented this evening during the visit of the federation president to Saudi Arabia to attend the IHF Super Globe, marking another milestone for the RFEBM.

Its sporting successes and management achievements have not gone unnoticed by the leaders of the Asian country, who, in their desire to promote women's participation in our sport, have sought to absorb the 'know-how' of the Spanish federation, captivated by its work around the Guerreras Iberdrola League.

The president of the IHF, Dr. Hassan Moustafa, has accompanied both leaders in the last hours, celebrating the agreement reached because it represents fantastic news for the development of handball beyond the borders of Europe, in countries that are decidedly committed to it.

The agreement signed with the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation strengthens the role of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation as a pioneering entity in promoting women in the world of sports.

Moreover, it enhances its image on the international handball stage as one of the most active players in building bridges and strengthening ties with countries from different continents that are committed to developing our sport. All this on the eve of the 2023 Women's Handball World Championship held in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden since late November.
